Ingredients

  • 1 cup - cooked leftover Rice
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin (jeera)
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala
  • 1-1/3 cup - Channa flour (besan) mixed with 1/2 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/3 cup - rava (fine)
  • 1 - Onion (finely chopped)
  • oil for frying

How to Make Plain Rice Pakoras

  • Sprinkle a little water on the rice and keep it in the microwave for 2 minutes. This makes the rice soft.
  • When rice cools down, add all the other ingredients and mix well.
  • Make into balls and deep fry till they are brown. Enjoy with mint chutney or any sauce. Great appetizer during parties.
