Ingredients

  • 2 - eggs
  • 4 cups - Flour
  • 1 cup - Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp - Cream of tartar
  • 3/4 tsp - Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp - Cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 tsp - Nutmeg powder
  • 2 tbsp - Butter or Ghee
  • 1 cup - Curd
  • 1/2 cup - Rum
  • How to Make Plain Rum Doughnuts:

    1. Combine sugar, 1 egg, 1 yolk of egg and rum together.
    2. Sift in the flour with dry ingredients and melted butter.
    3. Then take the mixture and dredge with flour.
    4. Roll out 1/4" thick and cut with doughnut forms.
    5. Fry in ghee till golden brown.
