Ingredients

  • 1 cup - cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 1.5 tsp - sesame seeds
  • 1.5 cup - carrot, diced
  • 1.5 cup - pineapple, diced
  • 1 cup - spring onion, sliced
  • 2 tbsp - coriander leaves
  • For Dressing:
  • 2 tsps - oil
  • 1 tsp - vinegar
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1.5 tsp - pepper
  • salt to taste

How to Make Plain Sesame Chicken Salad

  • Roast the sesame seeds in a pan without the oil, till brown in colour.
  • Remove and set aside.
  • In a bowl, add the chicken, diced carrots, spring onions, pineapple and the coriander leaves.
  • Pour the dressing over the chicken mixture and mix well.
  • Refrigerate the chicken and just before serving sprinkle the sesame seeds on top.
  • Serve cold.
