  • Small Shrimp - 1 pack
  • Tomatoes - 3
  • Onions - 2
  • Oil - for fry
  • Fennel seed (Saunf) / Aniseed - 1tsp
  • salt - 1tbsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 or 2 tbsp

How to Make Plain Shrimp Masala

  • Clean the shrimp keep aside.
  • Cut the tomatoes and onions.
  • In a pan, heat the oil and add fennel seeds.
  • Add tomatoes and onion and fry for few minutes.
  • Add the shrimp and fry well until shrimp is half cooked.
  • Add salt, chilli powder and fry till the shrimp is fully cooked.
  • Quantity of salt and chilli powder can vary according to taste.
