Ingredients

  • 1 raw plantain (Medium cut into 1/4 roundels).
  • Ginger.
  • 1 tsp - green chilli paste.
  • 1/4 tsp - ajwain.
  • 1/8 tsp - baking soda.
  • Coriander leaves (finely chopped).
  • 1tbsp - salt.

How to Make Plantain bajji

  • Prepare batter with the above ingredients (Except plantain slices and oil), into a medium-thick batter.
  • Drain out all water from the plantain slices, dip each slice in batter and deep fry till light golden in colour (under medium heat).
  • Serve as evening snack along with hot tea.
