How to Make Plantain Flower Vada

  • Chop plantain flower and cook in water till it is half done. Drain and keep aside.
  • Soak gram dal for one hour and grind coarsely.
  • Chop onion, green chillies and ginger evenly.
  • Mix all the above and make into a thick batter.
  • Spoon it into batter and deep fry.
  • Serve hot with onion chutney.
