Ingredients

  • 2 - plantains.
  • 2 - onions.
  • 4 - green peppers.
  • 1/2 " piece - ginger.
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves.
  • Salt to taste.
  • oil - deep frying.
  • How to Make Plantain Vada:

    1. Cut the whole plantains in 2-3 pieces and cook it in the pressure cooker.
    2. Remove the skin and mash it without any lumps.
    3. To this add very finely cut onion, hot pepper, ginger, coriander leaves and salt.
    4. Make vada shapes out of this mashed plantain-onion mix and deep fry them till crisp.
