  • 8 - ripe plums.
  • 12 - raisins.
  • 1 tbsp - mustard oil.
  • 1 tsp - pachforan (mustard seeds, cumin seeds, black cumin seeds, Fennel seeds and Fenugreek seeds).
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder.
  • A pinch - salt.
  • A pinch - Haldi powder.
  • Sugar to taste.
  • How to Make Plum chutney:

    1. Boil the plums in a little water. After cooling, deseed them.
    2. Then boil again and add sugar depending on how sweet the plums are.
    3. Add haldi, salt, chilli powder and let it simmer. Then add the raisins.
    4. If the concoction has become too thick, add a little water and boil.
    5. Heat mustard oil in a frying pan.
    6. Season it with pachforan.
    7. Simmer again. Cool a bit and serve.
    8. This chutney can be kept in the fridge for a week.
