Ingredients

  • 1 kg - ripe juicy plums.
  • 1 kg - sugar.
  • 6 - cloves.
  • 2 litres - water.
  • 1/2 tsp - active dry yeast.
  • How to Make Plum Wine:

    1. Wash the plums and blanch them with 2 litres of boiling water.
    2. Cover and keep aside for 1 day.
    3. Lightly crush the plums with sugar and add the cloves and yeast.
    4. Add 1 more litre of water and mix well.
    5. Leave for 3 weeks stirring everyday.
    6. Strain the wine and leave for a month to mature.
