Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Poha soaked in warm water.
  • 2 cups - shredded Coconut flakes.
  • 2 cups - Channa flour.
  • pepper and Salt to taste.
  • 1 - small Onion finely chopped.
  • 3 tbsp - green coriander, finely chopped.
  • 2 - green chillies, finely chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - Garam Masala powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - chat masala powder.
  • oil for frying.

How to Make Poha, Channa Dal and Coconut Pancake

  • Heat 2 tbsps oil in a pan, and add onions. Saute for a little while and add coconut flakes and drained poha. Mix well.
  • Add all the other ingredients and mix it thoroughly.
  • Turn off the gas and let it cool.
  • For pancake: Mix the channa flour and the fried mix with a little water until it becomes a soft dough.
  • Make small rounds of dough and flatten it.
  • Take large non-stick tawa or pan, keep it on medium heat, spread little oil on it and put pancakes on it. Brown both sides.
  • Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
