  • 2 cups- Boiled rice.
  • 1 cup- Urad dal.
  • One handful of Poha.
  • 1 tsp- Salt.
  • How to Make Poha Idli:

    1. Soak rice and dal separately for 6 hours. Soak poha along with the rice.
    2. Grind rice coarsely.
    3. Grind dal to a smooth paste.
    4. Add cooking soda a bit and also salt to the ground paste. Leave it for 12 hours for fermenting.
    5. Put it in the idli moulds and pressure cook it for 12 mins. Don't open the cooker. After 15 minutes open the cooker. Change it into a bowl. Serve with sambhar or chutneys.
