Ingredients

  • 3 cups - poha.
  • 1 - small-sized potato.
  • 1 - small-sized onion.
  • 1 - carrot.
  • 2 tbsp - oil.
  • Salt - to taste.
  • 1 tsp - sugar.
  • 1/2 tsp - Haldi powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - Red Chilli powder.
  • 1/4 tsp - chaat masala.
  • a few Cauliflower pieces.
  • 1 - small-sized tomato.
  • a few curry leaves.
  • a few chopped Dhania pattas.
  • a few chopped Cabbage leaves.
  • 1/2 tsp - chopped ginger.
  • 1/2 tsp - chopped garlic.

How to Make Pohe Ka Pulao

  • Wash the poha, drain out all the water.
  • Take a pan and heat the oil. Put some curry leaves into the pan.
  • When it splutters, then add onion and fry till light brown.
  • Now, add chopped ginger and garlic and fry for a few seconds.
  • Then, add all vegetables except the tomato.
  • Now, add all the dry masalas.
  • Fry them well for a few minutes, then add the tomato. Fry it well.
  • When it is soft, add poha.
  • Mix and cook for a few minutes.
  • Garnish it with chopped dhania patta and serve hot with tomato sauce.
