Ingredients

  • 1 cup - bean sprouts.
  • 1 - onion, finely chopped.
  • 1 - tomato, finely chopped.
  • 1 - small cucumber, finely chopped.
  • 1/2 - dark seedless pomegranate, cleaned.
  • 1 tbsp - coriander leaves, finely chopped.
  • 1/2 cup - fine sev.
  • 1/2 cup - bhel mixture farsan (optional).
  • 2 - small chillies, deseeded, crushed (or as per taste).
  • 1 tsp - dry red garlic chutney.
  • 1/2 tsp - cumin seeds, powdered.
  • 1/2 tsp - sugar, powdered.
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice.
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Pomegranate Sprout Bhel

  • Put bean sprouts in a large bowl.
  • Add onion, tomato, cucumber and coriander.
  • Add cumin, lemon, garlic chutney, chillies, sugar and salt.
  • Toss well to blend all flavours.
  • Just before serving, mix in pomegranate and farsan.
  • Put into 3-4 individual serving bowls.
  • Garnish with fine sev, coriander, pomegranate.
