Ingredients

  • 2 lbs - Pomfret fish.
  • 3 - tomatoes.
  • 4 - Garlic cloves.
  • 3 tbsp - vinegar.
  • 1 tbsp - sugar.
  • 2 tbsp - Olive oil.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1/2 cup - coriander leaves| Masala for grinding:
  • 2 - tomatoes.
  • 6 - dry chillies.
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • How to Make Pomfret Fish Curry:

    1. Clean, cut and wash the fish and sprinkle a pinch of salt.
    2. Grind the masala, then heat oil in a vessel and lightly fry the fish.
    3. Add chopped garlic, sugar, chopped tomato, vinegar, salt, and cook it covered for about 2 mins.
    4. Then add the ground masala, half a cup of water and bring it to a boil.
    5. Add sugar and salt to taste.
    6. Garnish with coriander leaves.
