Ingredients

  • 500 g - pomfret
  • 1.5 tsp - salt
  • 1.5 tsp - red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp - red tandoori colour
  • 1/4 tsp - ginger paste
  • 1/4 tsp - garlic paste
  • 1 tsp - garam masala
  • 100 g - besan
  • 1/2 tsp - jeera powder
  • 1 tsp - amchoor powder
  • 1 tsp - ajwain
  • Water - a little

How to Make Pomfret Fish Koliwada

  • Marinate cleaned fish with turmeric and salt for 1/2 an hour.
  • Grind all other ingredients into a paste and smear it on the fish and keep it for an hour.
  • Deep fry the fish in hot oil to reddish brown colour. Sprinkle with chaat masala and lemon juice.
