Ingredients

  • 1/2 liter - oil.
  • 500 gms - flour/maida.
  • Salt - to taste.
  • How to Make Pooris:

    1. Knead the maida dough well with water and salt to taste.
    2. Roll the dough on a wooden board or a clean wooden table into thin chapattis.
    3. Cut into small circles.
    4. The dough left over from the cutting can be again rolled and used for cutting more pooris.
    5. In a deep frying pan warm well plenty of oil, put puris and fry on both sides.
    6. When one side is fried, turn to the other.
