  • Part - I:
  • 1 cup - Rice flour
  • 1 tbsp - oil
  • salt to taste

  • 1.5 cup - Jaggery
  • 2 cups - fresh grated Coconut
  • How to Make Poornam Kozhakattai:

    1. Put Part
    2. ingredients in a microwaveable bowl and microwave on high for 2 mins.
    3. If you find it watery, microwave it for 1 more minute.
    4. In another microwave dish, mix Part I ingredients well until it forms a dosa - like dough and microwave it in an open bowl for 2 mins. Stir in between
    5. Allow it to cool and blend it in a mixer using a soft blade.
    6. Blend it until it forms a smooth ball.
    7. Now stuff the pooran into the shells made out of rice flour dough and shape into kozhakattai.
    8. Steam it in the microwave in an idli plate for 2 mins.
    9. Before steaming the kozhakattai, dip it in water.
    10. Also after 1 min, sprinkle little water over it to prevent it from breaking.
