Ingredients

  • 1 kg - pork, cut into medium-size pieces
  • 3 - chopped onions
  • 2 - green chillies, slit lengthwise
  • 2 tsp - chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp - chopped ginger
  • 2 pieces - cinnamon
  • 4 - cloves
  • 2 - bay leaves
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - all spice powder or garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp - vinegar
  • salt

How to Make Pork bafat

  • Marinate the pork with using all the ingredients listed for one hour.
  • Transfer to a suitable pan and simmer on low heat till the pork is cooked and gravy is quite thick.
  • For an extra tangy taste, add a little tamarind or lime juice while cooking.
  • Serve it hot with bread, rice or dosas.
