Ingredients

  • 1 kg - pork, cut into medium-size pieces
  • 3 - chopped Onions
  • 2 - green chillies, slit lengthwise
  • 2 tsp - chopped Garlic
  • 1 tsp - chopped Ginger
  • 2 pieces - Cinnamon
  • 4 - Cloves
  • 2 - Bay Leaves
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder
  • 1 tsp - coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - all spice powder or Garam Masala powder
  • 1 tsp - Vinegar
  • salt
  • How to Make Pork bafat:

    1. Marinate the pork with using all the ingredients listed for one hour.
    2. Transfer to a suitable pan and simmer on low heat till the pork is cooked and gravy is quite thick.
    3. For an extra tangy taste, add a little tamarind or lime juice while cooking.
    4. Serve it hot with bread, rice or dosas.
