Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - boneless pork preferably without fat, cut into small pieces.
  • 3 tbsp - chilli powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder.
  • 2 tsp - cumin powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - nutmeg powder.
  • 1 tsp - all spice powder.
  • 1 tbsp - chopped garlic.
  • 1 tsp - chopped ginger.
  • 2 tbsp - salt.
  • 1 cup - refined oil or sesame oil.
  • 2 cups - vinegar.

How to Make Pork Pickle

  • Wash the pork well and leave it to dry, for some time.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the garlic for some time.
  • Add the pork, chilli powder, cumin powder, nutmeg powder, spice powder, turmeric, vinegar, salt and mix well.
  • Cook on low heat, till the meat is cooked and the gravy is almost dry.
  • Remove from heat and cool.
  • When completely cold, store in bottles and use when required (keep in the fridge).
