Ingredients

  • 500 g - pork.
  • 2 tbsps - vinegar.
  • 1 - long sliced onion.
  • 1 tsp - long sliced ginger.
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder.
  • 1 tbsp - coriander powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 2 - Cinnamon pieces.
  • 3 - cardamom.
  • 6 - cloves.
  • 12 - garlic.
  • 2 tbsps - oil.
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Pork Ularthiathu:

    1. Clean pork and cut into small pieces.
    2. In a pressure cooker, mix the pork pieces with vinegar, salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger, water and cook for at least 10 mins after hearing the whistle.
    3. When cooked, drain extra water.
    4. Heat oil in a kadai, saute onion, curry leaves till golden.
    5. Add the cooked pork and saute well until dry and gets brown.
    6. Serve hot with bread, chapatti and appam.
