Ingredients

  • 4 - Potatoes, peeled and cut into medium sized pieces.
  • 2 - Capsicums, chopped into medium sized pieces.
  • 2 tbsp - oil.
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds.
  • 1 tsp - Finely chopped garlic.
  • 1 tsp - Coriander powder.
  • 1 tsp - Cumin powder.
  • ¼ tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp - chilli powder.
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala powder/spice powder.
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Potato And Capsicum Stir-fry

  • Heat oil in a pan and saute the cumin seeds and garlic until brown.
  • Add the potatoes, capsicum, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt and mix well.
  • Cook on low heat until the potatoes are softened.
  • Serve hot with chapattis or steamed rice.
