Ingredients

  • 4 - large Potatoes
  • 1 - small Onion
  • 2 tsp - Salt
  • 1.5 cups - Water
  • 4 cups - Milk
  • 1/4 tsp - Pepper
  • 3 cups - Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp - Parsley, chopped
  • How to Make Potato and Cheese Soup:

    1. Peel and cut potato into cubes.
    2. Chop onion finely.
    3. Put potatoes, onion, salt and water in a cooker and cook for 5-7 mins.
    4. Open cooker and allow it to cool.
    5. Mix the mixture in a blender or mash it through a sieve, return soup to a sauce pan and add milk and pepper.
    6. Cook on medium heat and bring it to boil stirring constantly.
    7. Add cheese and stir till the cheese melts.
    8. Garnish with chopped parsley.
