  • 4 to 5 - Potatoes, boiled
  • 2 - Medium-sized Onions, finely chopped
  • 2 - Medium-sized, firm Tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 - Green chilli, very finely chopped (optional if you want it less spicy)
  • 1/4 tsp - chaat masala
  • 1/4 tsp - Red Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp Mint chutney (made from grinding a combination of Mint leaves, coriander leaves, a few Green chillies and salt)
  • 2 tsp - sweet chutney (made from grinding a combination of seedless Dates and ball sized Tamarind soaked in water)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • Few sprigs of Coriander leaves
  • Mixture or sev

How to Make Potato chat

  • Peel the boiled potatoes and chop into bite sized cubes.
  • Add finely chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, chaat masala, red chilli powder and salt to taste.
  • Add the chutneys and squeeze in the lemon juice over it.
  • Give it a good toss and garnish with sev/mixture and coriander leaves.
  • Note:This tastes just as great without the chutneys.
