Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - Potatoes boiled and mashed.
  • 2 - Slices bread.
  • 3 tsp - Chopped, coriander leaves,.
  • 2 - green chillies, chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder.
  • 3 tbsp - Bread crumbs,.
  • 1/2 tsp - Chopped ginger.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 3 tbsp - Flour/maida.

How to Make Potato Croquettes-Patties

  • Soak the bread in water for 1 min, then squeeze out the water and crush it.
  • Then mix it with the mashed potato and all the other ingredients (except the bread crumbs).
  • Now make small balls of the potato dough.
  • Roll and shape it into long patties.
  • Now mix the flour in a little water to make a paste. Keep aside.
  • Dip each croquette (pattie) into the flour paste, roll it on the bread crumbs and shallow fry in hot oil on both sides until golden brown.
  • Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
