  • 1 cup - moong dal.
  • 3 - potatoes, cut into medium sized pieces.
  • 1 cup - onion, cut into small pieces.
  • 2-3 flakes - garlic.
  • 2-3 - green chillies.
  • 1/2 tsp - chilli powder.
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Potato Daal:

    1. Cook moong dal with 2 cups of water, potatoes, a little salt and garlic.
    2. In a pan, heat oil and add onions and fry for few minutes.
    3. Add green chillies, tomatoes and chilli powder.
    4. After a few minutes, add the mashed moong dal and a little water if required.
    5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
    6. Goes great with rotis.
