  • 2 Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp - corn flour
  • 2 tsp - grated onions
  • 1/4 tsp - black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp - chopped coriander
  • salt, to taste
  • oil - to shallow fry

How to Make Potato Hash Browns

  • Wash the potatoes and peel their skin properly.
  • Parboil these potatoes till they are approximately 40% cooked.
  • Drain and dry them with a kitchen towel.
  • Use a big-holed grater and grate both the potatoes nicely.
  • Don't mash them at all!
  • Add the rest of the ingredients to it and mix them well.
  • Divide the mixture into four portions and give it your favorite flat shape.
  • Heat some oil in a flat pan and arrange the hash-browns on it.
  • Shallow fry them till the crust turns brown on either side.
  • Serve hot.
