  • Potatoes - 500 g, boiled, peeled and cubed.
  • Garlic - 4 flakes, crushed.
  • Cumin powder - 1 tsp.
  • Coriander powder - 2 tsp.
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp.
  • Shallots - 5 to 6, peeled.
  • Curry leaves - few.
  • Black pepper corns - 1/2 tsp.
  • Cardamom - 1.
  • Clove - 1.
  • Cinnamon - 2 cm.
  • Tamarind pulp - 2 tsp.
  • Water - 800 ml.
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Potato in Miris Hodhi

  • Combine all the ingredients together, except the potatoes.
  • Bring it to a boil, simmer till the gravy thickens and becomes aromatic.
  • Add potatoes and simmer for 5 more mins.
