Ingredients

  • 2 cup - all-purpose flour (maida)
  • 1/2 kg - potatoes
  • 1/2 cup - wheat flour (atta)
  • 2 tsp - dry Methi(Uluva)leaves
  • 1/4 tsp - baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp - black pepper
  • 1 tsp - salt
  • 2 tbsp - curd
  • Oil for frying

How to Make Potato poori

  • Boil the potatoes and keep them aside.
  • Mix together maida, wheat flour, baking powder, black pepper, salt, dry methi leaves and curd.
  • Grate the boiled potatoes and add it to the above mixture.
  • Knead the above into a dough.
  • If green methi is not available then you can add yellow methi (ground).
  • Make pooris from the above dough.
  • Fry them in oil.
  • Serve hot.
  • Makes 25-30 pooris.
