Ingredients

  • 2- Onions.
  • 2 - Potatoes.
  • Few Mustard seeds.
  • 2 tsp - chilli powder.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 - Tamarind, Lime size.
  • 10 tbsp - oil.

How to Make Potato Sang

  • Cut the onions lengthwise.
  • Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add the mustard seeds.
  • Once they start to splutter, fry the onions till it turns golden brown colour.
  • Then add the potato cubes.
  • Then add salt and chilli powder.
  • Mix the tamarind only once, thicken by adding water. Add it to the above mixture and cook till potatoes are well done.
  • This dish goes well with chapatti/rice.
