Ingredients

  • Butter - 1 cup.
  • Sugar - 2 cups.
  • eggs - 4.
  • Flour - 4 cups.
  • Baking soda - 1 tsp.
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • Sour Cream - 4 ounces.
  • Cream cheese - 4 ounces (Softened).
  • Praline liqueur - 1 cup.
  • Pecans - 1 cup (chopped)| For Glaze:
  • Butter - 1/4 cup.
  • Brown sugar - 1/2 cup.
  • Praline liqueur - 1/4 cup.
  • Water - 0.15 cup.
  • How to Make Praline Pound Cake:

    1. Cream butter and sugar.
    2. Add eggs and beat for 3 mins.
    3. Mix together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
    4. Mix together sour cream, cream cheese and liqueur.
    5. Alternately, add dry ingredients into cheese mixture, beating well. Stir in pecans.
    6. Grease and flour bundt pan.
    7. Pour batter in.
    8. Bake at 350 degrees F for 60 -70 mins.
    9. Cool for 15 mins, then glaze|
    10. For glaze:
    11. Combine the butter, brown sugar, praline liqueur, and water all in a small saucepan.
    12. Bring to a boil.
    13. Stir for 5 mins.
    14. Pour over cake.
