Ingredients

  • 500 g - prawn.
  • 200 g - potatoes.
  • 2 -onions (big).
  • 2 - Tomatoes (small).
  • 1 tsp - Turmeric power.
  • 1 tsp - whole coriander.
  • 2 inches - cinnamon.
  • 2 - 4 - cloves.
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder.
  • 2 - tej patta.
  • 2 tbsp -mustard oil.
  • Salt.
  • 1 inch - ginger.
  • Chopped coriander leaves.
  • How to Make Prawn and Potatoes Curry:

    1. Clean and wash the prawns. Coat it with turmeric powder and salt and keep aside.
    2. Grind ginger and 1 onion into a fine paste.
    3. Roast whole coriander seed, cinnamon, clove and grind them together.
    4. Cut potatoes into thick strips and fry.
    5. Heat oil, add tej patta (bay leaf), chopped onion and chopped tomatoes and fry till golden brown.
    6. Now add wet ground masala, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder and fry it til the oil separates.
    7. Now add prawns and fried potatoes to it.
    8. Add 2 to 3 cups of water and salt.
    9. Cook it on low flame.
    10. Add dry ground masala powder.
    11. Stir well and remove from the fire.
    12. Garnish with grated coriander leaves.
    13. Serve hot with rice or chapattis.
