Ingredients

  • 450 gms - Prawns.
  • 1 - tomato.
  • 2 Oz - Ghee or oil.
  • 1 - Onion.
  • 1 Cloves - Garlic.
  • 1 tsp - Ginger.
  • 1 tsp - chilli Powder.
  • 1 tsp - Jeera/Cumin Seeds fried.
  • 2 tbsps - Coconut Milk.
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Prawn Bootha

  • Peel the prawns, wash them, and keep aside.
  • Chop the onions and tomatoes.
  • In a saucepan, heat the ghee and lightly fry onions, ginger, garlic, chilli powder, jeera until light brown.
  • Add the cleaned prawns and the tomatoes, and let them cook in the juice of the tomatoes.
  • Just before the prawns are cooked, add the coconut milk and salt to taste.
  • Reduce the fire and simmer for a little while. Serve hot.
