  • 450 gms - Prawns.
  • 1 - tomato.
  • 2 Oz - Ghee or oil.
  • 1 - Onion.
  • 1 Cloves - Garlic.
  • 1 tsp - Ginger.
  • 1 tsp - chilli Powder.
  • 1 tsp - Jeera/Cumin Seeds fried.
  • 2 tbsps - Coconut Milk.
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Prawn Bootha:

    1. Peel the prawns, wash them, and keep aside.
    2. Chop the onions and tomatoes.
    3. In a saucepan, heat the ghee and lightly fry onions, ginger, garlic, chilli powder, jeera until light brown.
    4. Add the cleaned prawns and the tomatoes, and let them cook in the juice of the tomatoes.
    5. Just before the prawns are cooked, add the coconut milk and salt to taste.
    6. Reduce the fire and simmer for a little while. Serve hot.
