Ingredients

  • 3 - dry red chillies.
  • 4 flakes - garlic.
  • 1 inch - ginger.
  • 25 - medium prawns.
  • 1 tsp - salt.
  • 1 small ball - tamarind.
  • 1 inch - turmeric.
  • How to Make Prawn Masala Fry:

    1. Clean and wash the prawns. Shell them and remove the black vein.
    2. Grind dry red chillies, garlic, ginger, tamarind, turmeric and salt.
    3. Apply the ground masala to the prawns and let it marinate for an hour.
    4. Heat 2 tbsp ghee or oil in a large enough vessel.
    5. Put the marinated prawns and its masala and add water.
    6. Boil till cooked. Stir and turn the prawns, and boil again till well cooked. Add salt if required.
