Ingredients

  • 500 grams - cleaned and de-veined prawns.
  • 1 tsp - ginger garlic paste.
  • 1/4 tsp - turmeric powder.
  • 5 tbsp - coconut milk.
  • 2 tbsp - oil.
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder.
  • 4- green chillies slit lengthwise.
  • Salt.
  • 2 -onions sliced finely.
  • 2- small tomatoes chopped into quarters.

How to Make Prawn Moilee

  • Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions till golden brown.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for a few minutes.
  • Add the prawns, coconut milk, green chillies, pepper powder, turmeric powder, tomatoes and salt and mix well.
  • Add 1 cup of water and cook on medium heat till the prawns are tender.
  • Serve with rice or hoppers.
