  • 500 grams - cleaned and de-veined prawns.
  • 1 tsp - Ginger Garlic paste.
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 5 tbsp - Coconut milk.
  • 2 tbsp - oil.
  • 1 tsp - pepper powder.
  • 4- Green chillies slit lengthwise.
  • Salt.
  • 2 -onions sliced finely.
  • 2- small Tomatoes chopped into quarters.
  • How to Make Prawn Moilee:

    1. Heat the oil in a pan and saute the onions till golden brown.
    2. Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for a few minutes.
    3. Add the prawns, coconut milk, green chillies, pepper powder, turmeric powder, tomatoes and salt and mix well.
    4. Add 1 cup of water and cook on medium heat till the prawns are tender.
    5. Serve with rice or hoppers.
