Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tbsp - Milk
  • 125 g - small Prawns
  • 1 tbsp - finely sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp - Butter
  • 1.5 tbsp - finely sliced Spring onions
  • 1/4 tsp - monosodium glutamate
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • How to Make Prawn Omelette:

    1. Beat the eggs, milk, monosodium glutamate, salt and pepper together.
    2. Heat the butter in a heavy frying pan, add prawns, onions and mushrooms. Fry lightly for 5 mins.
    3. Pour the egg mixture over the simmering prawns.
    4. Cook for 3 mins, lifting edges to allow mixture to spread.
    5. Fold and serve immediately.
