For the dough:
1/2 tsp -yeast
1/4 tsp- salt
10 -prawns large
1-tomato - small
1/2 tsp -coriander powder
1/2 tsp -chilli powder
1/4 tsp-turmeric powder
2 tsp -prawn masala/chicken masala
1-capsicum - small
For the pizza mix.
1-tomato paste - small tin
leaves grinded (dry)
1 cube-chicken stock
How to Make Prawn Pizza
Dissolve yeast and sugar in little warm water and keep it aside.
In a bowl, mix maida and salt.
When the yeast mixture froths, pour this into maida and knead.
Use a little warm water also.
Add 1 tbsp. of oil to this and make a soft dough.
Cover this bowl with a wet cloth and keep it for some time.
When the dough rises, punch it down and keep it aside.
Method for prawn masala:
Heat a little oil in a pan.
Add crushed ginger and garlic and saute.
Then add diced onions and saute.
After that add chopped tomatoes and saute.
Add coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and saute.
Add the chopped prawns, salt and masala.
Cover and cook for some time.
When it is almost done, add diced capsicum and saute for a while.
Method For the pizza mix:
Heat little oil in a frying pan.
Add finely chopped garlic and saute.
Then add finely chopped onion and saute.
After that add ground oregano leaves and chicken stock.
Saute. Add the mixture of peeled tomato and tomato paste (blend in a mixer).
Cover and lower the flame.
Cook for about 1 hour in a very low flame.
Add a pinch of sugar at the end and cook for a while.
When it becomes cool, store in a bottle and keep it in fridge.
Pre heat the oven at 200 degree C.
Flatten the dough in a baking tray and pork with fork all over the dough.
Bake for 10 mins.
Take it out and spread the pizza mix.
Then spread the prawn masala and sprinkle grated mozzarella cheese on the top.
Bake the top for about 8 mins till the cheese melts.
