Ingredients

  • 1 cup - Prawns
  • 2- Potatoes
  • 1 - Onion (chopped)
  • 1 - Tomato (chopped)
  • 5 - Curry leaves
  • 2tsp - Coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • To Grind:
  • 3 tsp - Poppy Seeds
  • 1 tsp - Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp - Fennel seeds
  • 2 tsp - Coriander seeds
  • 5 - dry Red Chillies
  • 5 - Garlic pods
  • How to Make Prawn Potato Curry:

    1. Grind all ingredients to be ground.
    2. Wash the prawns and keep aside, cut the potatoes into small cubes.
    3. Heat enough oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and tomatoes with enough salt. Stir them until the onions turns translucent.
    4. Add the prawns and cubed potatoes to the onion and stir them for a while until they turns rosy.
    5. Add the ground paste and cook until the oil gets separated, add the curry leaves and cilantro leaves.
    6. Serve hot as side dish for any choice of rice dishes.
