Ingredients

  • Prawns - 250 g.
  • 3 - onions.
  • 3 - potatoes.
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Red Chilli powder - 3/4 tsp.
  • Coconut powder - 3 tbsp.
  • Fresh Cream - 3 tbsp.
  • How to Make Prawns Dalna:

    1. Clean prawns, marinate with coconut powder, turmeric powder and salt for 15-20 mins.
    2. Boil the potatoes whole, taking care not to over cook it. Peel the skin and cut into pieces.
    3. Heat oil, add potatoes, chilli powder, onions and salt.
    4. Fry till the onions and potatoes turn brown.
    5. Add fresh cream. Stir for a minute.
    6. Add marinated prawns, mix well and keep in low flame for about 10 mins.
