Ingredients

  • Prawns - 1/2 kg.
  • Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp.
  • Green chillies - 4.
  • Coriander leaves - 100 g.
  • Khus-khus (poppy seeds) - 2 tsp.
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Cloves - 2.
  • Cardamom - 2.
  • Cinnamon - 2.
  • oil - 3 tbsp.
  • Coconut powder - 50 g.
  • Onion (chopped) - 2.
  • Salt to taste.
  • How to Make Prawns in green Masala Curry:

    1. Make a smooth paste of green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, coriander leaves and khus-khus.
    2. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the onions till translucent.
    3. Add the whole spices and the cumin seeds.
    4. Add the prawns, turmeric powder and fry for 6 mins.
    5. Add the coconut powder and the green paste. Fry for 2 mins.
    6. Add salt. Stir and serve hot with steamed rice.
