Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - prawns.
  • 1 tbsp - lime.
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder.
  • 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 1 tbsp - Ginger Garlic paste.
  • 1 sprig - curry leaves.
  • 2 tbsp - coriander leaves.
  • 1 tsp - coriander pwd.
  • salt to taste.
  • 5 ml - rum.
  • 1 tbsp - oil.

How to Make Prawns in Rum

  • Clean prawns and roughly cut the curry leaves with hand.
  • Chop coriander leaves.
  • Marinade the prawns with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, salt, coriander powder, curry leaves, coriander leaves and lime juice for 15 minutes.
  • In tawa take some oil and add the marinated prawns.
  • Saute till the prawn are cooked.
  • When the prawns are completely cooked, turn off gas.
  • Add rum and hold a lit match over it so that the prawns catch the fire.
  • Serve with a drink.
