Ingredients

  • 2 cups - Boiled chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup - Tofu
  • 2 - Boiled potatoes (medium)
  • 1/2 cup - Chopped onion
  • 1 tsp - Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp - Chopped green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp - Crushed kasoori methi
  • 1 tsp - Lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup - Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp - Channa masala
  • 1/4 tsp - Garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for shallow frying.

How to Make Protein-Powerhouse Tikkis

  • Mix chickpeas, tofu & potato in a bowl.
  • Mash them with a wooden spatula.
  • Then add the ginger-garlic paste and green chillies.
  • Now add all the spices with lemon juice into it and mix well.
  • Divide the mix into equal portions and shape them into tikkis.
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry both the sides until brown.
  • Serve hot.
