Ingredients

  • Mint leaves - 2 cups.
  • green chillies - 4.
  • Coconut powder - 1/2 cup.
  • Sesame seeds - 1/2 cup.
  • Garlic cloves - 3.
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp.
  • Tamarind - size of lemon.
  • oil - 3 tbsp| For seasoning:
  • Curry leaves - a few some.
  • Mustard seeds - 1tsp.
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp.
  • Chillies - 3.
  • Salt|

How to Make Pudina (Mint) chutney

  • Wash mint leaves and drain.
  • In a kadai, add 1/2 tbsp of oil and fry mint leaves in medium flame until it shrinks.
  • Fry the sesame seeds and green chillies.
  • Grind cumin seeds, sesame seeds, coconut powder, garlic cloves, pudina and green chillies.
  • Then add the tamarind, salt and grind them to a soft paste.
  • In a kadai, add 2 tbsp of oil and splutter mustard, red chillies, curry leaves and pour into the chutney.
