Ingredients

  • 4 cups - Wheat flour.
  • 1 small bunch - Mint leaves, finely chopped.
  • handful - coriander leaves, finely chopped.
  • 4 - green chillies, finely chopped.
  • 1 tsp - Red Chilli powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - Turmeric powder.
  • 1/2 tsp - ajwain.
  • 1 tsp - cumin seeds.
  • 3 tbsp - oil.
  • 7 tbsp - ghee.
  • Salt.
  • How to Make Pudina (Mint) Paratha:

    1. Mix together mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chillies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ajwain and cumin seeds.
    2. Add this mixture to the wheat flour along with salt and oil. Mix well.
    3. Add sufficient water to make a semi-soft dough.
    4. Divide the dough into equal portions.
    5. Smoothen each portion.
    6. Dip into flour and roll it out like a thick roti.
    7. Preheat the tawa and rub the tawa with little ghee.
    8. Roast the parathas on a medium flame till golden.
    9. Apply 1 tsp ghee when flipping sides.
    10. Serve.
