Ingredients

  • 1 bunch - pudina.
  • 1/2 kg - rice.
  • 1 cup - green peas, dried.
  • 1 cup - grated coconut.
  • 1 bunch - coriander leaves.
  • 1/2 cup - oil.
  • 1 - big onion.
  • some sliced ginger.
  • 5 to 6 - green chillies.
  • vegetables (beans, carrot, round cabbage).
  • 1 tsp - mustard.
  • 2 tsp - salt.
  • How to Make Pudina Pulav:

    1. Soak the green peas overnight.
    2. Cut vegetables into small pieces.
    3. Grind chillies, ginger, pudina leaves, coriander leaves and grated coconut.
    4. In a cooker, heat oil and add mustard.
    5. When mustard splutters, add chopped onions, peas, vegetables and ground ingredients.
    6. Fry for a few minutes.
    7. Wash rice and mix with fried vegetables and water, and pressure cook up to 3 whistles.
    8. Serve hot.
