Ingredients

  • Ingredients: 2 tbsp - khuskhus.
  • 1 tbsp - almonds.
  • 1tbsp - cashew nuts.
  • 1 bunch - mint leaves.
  • 2 - green chillies.
  • 200g - paneer.
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp - garlic paste.
  • 1 tsp - ginger paste.
  • 1 tsp - red chilli powder.
  • 1 tsp - amchur powder.
  • 1 tsp - turmeric.
  • 1 tsp - lemon juice.
  • Salt to taste.

How to Make Pudina Shahi Paneer

  • Grind khuskhus to a fine powder without adding water.
  • Soak almonds, cashew nuts for 2 hours and grind to a paste, adding a little water.
  • Wash mint leaves and green chilli and grind to a paste.
  • Cut paneer into half inch cubes and soak in hot water for half an hour, covered.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and saute onion pieces till light brown. Keep the flame on low to medium.
  • Add garlic paste and saute for a minute.
  • Add ginger paste and saute for half a minute.
  • Add red chilli powder, amchur powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Add cashew and almond paste. Mix well.
  • Also add khuskhus paste and mix well.
  • Add curd and saute for a minute.
  • Add mint and green chillies paste and saute for a minute.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Now add paneer pieces and cook covered for 2 mins.
  • Turn off the flame and add lemon juice just before serving.
  • Serve with rotis or puris.
