Ingredients

  • 3 cups - Puffed rice.
  • 2 tbsp - Peanuts.
  • 1 - Onion.
  • 2 - green Chillies.
  • 2 - Lime Juice tsp.
  • 1 tsp - oil.
  • 1 tsp - Gram Dhal.
  • 1 tsp - Urad dhal.
  • Mustard seeds.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 pinch - Turmeric powder.
  • Coriander and Curry leaves.

How to Make Puffed rice Uppuma

  • Pour oil in a pan and season it with mustard seeds, gram and urad dhal.
  • Saute finely chopped onions and add green chillies and turmeric powder.
  • After sometime, add the puffed rice and mix well.
  • Add powdered peanuts, salt and a dash of lime juice.
  • Finally add finely chopped coriander and curry leaves.
