  • 1.5 cups - Pumpkin or Yellow Squash grated
  • 1 small - Onion, very finely chopped
  • 2 cloves - Garlic
  • 1 tsp - Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp - Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp - Garam masala
  • 1 tsp - Chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp - Sugar
  • 1 tbsp - Cooking oil

How to Make Pumpkin Onion Paratha

  • Mix flour, salt, water, oil and make into a soft dough.
  • Keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
  • Heat oil, add onion, garlic, pumpkin, all the spices, salt, sugar and saute for 15 mins (or till done).
  • Roll a lemon sized dough, fill it with the stuffing, seal the edges and carefully roll into a 5-inch diameter paratha.
  • Grease a non-stick tawa with little oil and cook the paratha on both sides till golden brown.
  • Serve with chilled curd.
