Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - puthi
  • 1 small bunch - coriander leaves
  • 2-4 - green chillies, slit
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • 2 tbsp - mustard oil
  • 1 - small onion
  • 2 flakes - garlic
  • 1/2 tsp - black cumin

How to Make Puti Macher Chochori

  • Make a paste of onion, garlic, green chillies, salt and turmeric powder
  • Marinate the fish with the paste
  • Heat mustard oil in a kadai, splutter black cumin, add the marinated fish, slowly stir it and keep it in low flame.
  • When done add the chopped coriander leaves, simmer for sometime, covered
  • Serve.
