  • 1/2 kg - potatoes, boiled and mashed.
  • 2 slices - bread.
  • 3 tsp - chopped coriander leaves.
  • 2 - Green chilli chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder.
  • 3 tsp - bread crumbs.
  • 1/2 tsp - chopped ginger.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 - Egg beaten.

How to Make Quick and Easy Potato Cutlets

  • Soak the bread in water, squeeze and crumble.
  • Mix with the mashed potato and all the other ingredients (except the bread crumbs and beaten eggs).
  • Make small balls of the potato dough.
  • Flatten and shape into patties.
  • Dip each in the beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs and shallow fry in hot oil on both sides till golden brown. Serve hot with mint chutney.
