Ingredients

  • 1/2 kg - potatoes, boiled and mashed.
  • 2 slices - bread.
  • 3 tsp - chopped coriander leaves.
  • 2 - Green chilli chopped.
  • 1/2 tsp - pepper powder.
  • 3 tsp - bread crumbs.
  • 1/2 tsp - chopped ginger.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 - Egg beaten.
  • How to Make Quick and Easy Potato Cutlets:

    1. Soak the bread in water, squeeze and crumble.
    2. Mix with the mashed potato and all the other ingredients (except the bread crumbs and beaten eggs).
    3. Make small balls of the potato dough.
    4. Flatten and shape into patties.
    5. Dip each in the beaten egg, roll in bread crumbs and shallow fry in hot oil on both sides till golden brown. Serve hot with mint chutney.
