Ingredients

  • 1 - medium sized bunch spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups - milk
  • 1.5 tsp - butter
  • 1 tsp - fresh garlic paste
  • 1 cup - water
  • pepper to taste
  • salt

How to Make Quick and Easy Spinach Soup

  • Wash the spinach and cook in a heavy bottom vessel for 5 mins. Cool and grind into a fine paste.
  • Lightly heat butter in a non-stick vessel.
  • Add garlic paste and saute on a low flame for few seconds.
  • Add the spinach paste and saute on a low flame for 5-7 mins.
  • Add milk and water and boil on a medium flame, stirring at regular intervals, till the soup thickens a little.
  • Serve with salt and pepper.
